Literacy is a fundamental life skill that is essential for young people if they are to achieve success in life. Students who have well-developed reading and writing skills will be better prepared not only for their future educational careers but also for the world of work. A greater focus on literacy means more opportunities for our students.
In Grade 10, students take the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT), which measures whether or not they are meeting the minimum standard for literacy across all subjects up to the end of Grade 9.Feb 12th - Practice literacy test
